While the Pittsburgh Steelers’ game plan was built around stopping Myles Garrett, Aaron Rodgers says he wasn’t thinking about stopping Garrett’s sack record during Sunday’s abysmal loss to the Cleveland Browns. Speaking to reporters post-game, Rodgers says that wasn’t his goal nor was it a thought mid-game.
“You gotta ask them. Wasn’t on my mind,” Rodgers said via the team’s YouTube channel when asked if he thought about the record mid-game.
Garrett finished the game with a quiet outing. He recorded just one tackle, one quarterback hit, and zero sacks to keep him at 22 for the season.
