Ben Skowronek is a member of the Pittsburgh Steelers’ receiving corps. But that’s certainly not what his biggest role on the team is. Skowronek has established himself as one of the NFL’s better special teamers, and he now has a Pro Bowl nod to back that up.
During his weekly press conference, Mike Tomlin talked about the value Skowronek adds to the Steelers’ special teams.
“He cares a lot, he cares hard, he’s really talented. He’s a football player first. And what I mean by that, he’s a wideout who is a very good tackler,” Tomlin said via the Steelers’ YouTube channel.
