The 2016 NFL schedule is set to be released later on this evening and as usual, a few supposed leaks are starting surface.
By no means is this official, but Chick Hernandez of Comcast SportsNet in Washington, D.C. is reporting on Twitter that a source has told him that the Washington Redskins will host the Pittsburgh Steelers on the first Monday night of the season.
Whether or not this is true is yet to be seen, however, as one Twitter follower reminded this afternoon, the chances of the Steelers opening their 2016 regular season on the road is likely high because of the Pittsburgh Panthers playing the Penn State Nittany Lions at Heinz Field on Saturday Sep.
