‘Turned Back The Clock:’ Aaron Rodgers Jumps Five Spots In QB Rankings

Last week many people thought the Pittsburgh Steelers’ Aaron Rodgers wasn’t even a middle-of-the-road NFL quarterback anymore. NFL.com’s Nick Shook had Rodgers 21st in his quarterback rankings, Tier 4. He wasn’t alone in that feeling, either.

But then last Sunday happened. Rodgers completed over 73 percent of his passes and threw for four touchdowns in the Steelers’ 34-32 win over the New York Jets. And many, including Shook, have changed their minds.

“Aaron Rodgers turned back the clock in his first start with the Steelers,” Shook wrote about ranking Rodgers 16th this week.
