Arthur Smith’s Steelers offense had quite possibly its worst performance yet against the Browns last week, with execution a factor. While they had major restrictions, missing five key players, Smith saw opportunities on which they failed to capitalize. All he can do now is hope they learn from that for the Ravens game.
“We had way too many self-inflicted wounds for many reasons”, Smith said, via the Steelers’ media department, discussing last Sunday’s loss to the Browns. “Had plenty of opportunities. You got to give Cleveland credit. But that’s really what went on”.
“I mean, you move the ball and then some of the situational stuff, we had too many negative plays when we were on track or [had] field position after big plays and we didn’t overcome it”, Smith went on.
