After losing starting running back Le’Veon Bell for the remainder of the season on Sunday to a knee injury, the Pittsburgh Steelers quickly signed former St. Louis Rams running back Isaiah Pead to take his spot on the 53-man roster. During his Tuesday press conference, head coach Mike Tomlin talked a little about the University of Cincinnati product.
“I think he’s got a skill set that’s going to be able to help us at some point and I emphasize at some point, because he’s got to learn what to do, said Tomlin of Pead, who has rushed for 78 yards on 19 carries since being drafted by the Rams in the second-round of the 2012 NFL Draft.
