Over the last few offseasons, the Pittsburgh Steelers under GM Omar Khan and assistant GM Andy Weidl had a clear plan of attack in building the roster. It all starts in the trenches on both sides of the football.
Ahead of the 2024 season, the Steelers invested heavily in the offensive line in the NFL Draft, snagging three starters in Troy Fautanu, Zach Frazier and Mason McCormick. Then, this past offseason the Steelers landed Derrick Harmon and Yahya Black in the draft along the defensive line.
Those selections helped Pittsburgh add some big men with a lot of talent at very important positions in today’s NFL.
