Tomlin Never Considered Giving Boswell 64-Yard Chance To Tie Bears

With one of the best kickers in the history of the NFL, the Pittsburgh Steelers had just 1:29 and no timeouts to get in field goal range with a chance to send the game to overtime against the Chicago Bears. The drive had a promising start, but they ultimately stalled out at the 47-yard line. That would have made it a very long 64-yard field goal attempt, but Tomlin opted to put the game in Mason Rudolph and the offense’s hands.

You have to at least consider the option of making the kick in that situation, right? Apparently the answer was no for Mike Tomlin on Sunday.
