If there’s a theme to the Pittsburgh Steelers’ season on offense, it’s caution. From a passing plan overloaded with behind-the-line throws to several “cowardly” fourth-down choices by the Surrender Index, almost every major decision has leaned conservative. That’s why one of Mike Tomlin’s keys to Sunday’s Baltimore Ravens game should have everybody’s attention.
“Every down is gonna be big. The fourth downs are gonna be big , and you can almost anticipate ’em. Everyone’s gonna have to be schematically aggressive in pursuit of victory. I know they will be prepared to do so,” Tomlin said via the Steelers website.
