Tomlin Doesn’t Think Steelers ‘Played Poorly’ In Loss To Browns

In a season full of crushing defeats, the Pittsburgh Steelers may have just suffered their worst one. With an easy path to the playoffs, the Steelers laid an egg against the 3-12 Cleveland Browns and put themselves in a must-win situation next week.

Despite the ugly 13-6 loss to a bad team, Mike Tomlin doesn’t think his squad played one of its worst games of the season.

“I didn’t think we played poorly,” Tomlin said after the game. “We just didn’t make enough plays. I thought they played well. I thought the game was kind of unfolding in the way you would anticipate, but we never made that signature play that kind of got us over the hump.
