T.J. Watt says groin injury 'wasn't serious'

Rookie outside linebacker T.J. Watt, who left the Vikings game with a groin injury and did not return, was a limited participant in practice Wednesday. He said a scan of his injury proved the injury is minor and cannot be injured further.

Watt said he originally sustained the injury in practice last week and aggravated it covering a punt against the Vikings.

“I ran around a little bit, tested it around, and it felt pretty good, so I’m happy with that,” he said.

“I knew it wasn’t serious. After getting the scans back it proved I was right.
