Rookie T.J. Watt took a pause, reflecting on the quick turnaround from playing college football at Wisconsin to rookie minicamp and now to playing on Steelers’ first-team defense on the first day of the team’s offseason practice.
“It’s a lot different than college,” he said. “I’ll tell you that right now.”
Watt is practicing with the starters to fill in for veteran linebacker James Harrison, who rarely participates in OTAs but was watching from the sidelines Tuesday morning.
“You know he’s the man around here,” Watt said. “That’s how it is. I respect the heck out of him and everything that he’s done.
