The Pittsburgh Steelers’ defense looks a lot different than the team might have expected coming into the year. The prized offseason defensive acquisition, Jalen Ramsey, started the season at cornerback and moving around the secondary. Now, he’s fully focused on the safety position just over halfway through the season.
And teammates like T.J. Watt are noticing the intensity he’s bringing in his new role, both in stadiums and on the practice field.
“I mean, Jalen’s first full practice at safety, he was complaining that we weren’t letting the runner run,” Watt said Friday via Steelers.com.
