Anyone who watched the Steelers offense struggle to score touchdowns in the playoffs knows Ben Roethlisberger and Co. have plenty to work on in the offseason. The Steelers finished the season 16th in red-zone offensive efficiency, scoring touchdowns on just 54.2 percent of their trips inside the opponent’s 20-yard line. In the playoffs, they were 0 for 4 in the red zone against Kansas City and 1 for 3 against New England, which prompted Steelers president Art Rooney II to single out the red-zone offense in his interview session with reporters earlier this week.
“Obviously in the playoffs, we need to be better in the red zone,” Rooney said.
