The Pittsburgh Steelers still haven’t officially punched their playoff ticket, but Sunday’s road win over the Detroit Lions felt like more than just another step toward January football. At 9-6, this team is starting to shed the familiar “same old Steelers” label, and Super Bowl champion CB Bryant McFadden believes that change is very real.
“They’re ready for the playoffs. And this will be a different scenario from what we’ve seen in years past,” McFadden said on CBS Sports HQ after the game. “Go back to a year ago, they finished the season in the midst of a four-game losing streak limping into the playoffs.
