This time in the postseason, it was supposed to be different for the Pittsburgh Steelers. It’s why they went out and got Aaron Rodgers in free agency. They believed he could elevate them on offense and get them over the hump in the postseason.
That proved to not be the case on Monday night in the AFC Wild Card against the Houston Texans at Acrisure Stadium. Rodgers was no match for the elite Texans defense, nor was the rest of the offense in an ugly 30-6 loss. Rodgers was bruised and battered, was strip-sacked in the fourth quarter leading to a defensive touchdown and later threw a pick-6 before exiting the game in what could be the end of his Hall of Fame career.
