Let’s be honest, there hasn’t been a lot of good news surrounding the Pittsburgh Steelers since their season ended abruptly to the Cleveland Browns in the Wild Card Round of the AFC Playoffs.
There have been coaches fired, and hired, and some coaches facing the opportunity of promotion. One of those coaches was defensive assistant Teryl Austin. Austin was interviewed for the Tennessee Titans defensive coordinator position, but Mike Vrabel ultimately decided to go in a different direction.
