It’s natural for Steelers fans to believe Santonio Holmes’ game-winning catch at the end of the 2009 Super Bowl was the most iconic touchdown in the game’s history. It turns out a rather significant neutral third party agrees with them.
The NFL placed Holmes’ score at the top of its list of 15 iconic touchdowns in a video posted to the league’s Twitter account Tuesday.
Three other Steelers touchdowns also made the list. Antwaan Randle El’s trick play touchdown pass to Hines Ward in the 2006 Super Bowl came in at No. 14. Terry Bradshaw’s 64-yard throw to Lynn Swann in the 1976 game came in at No.
