If Mike Tomlin and the Pittsburgh Steelers complete their collapse by falling to the Baltimore Ravens Sunday night, calls for Tomlin’s firing will be as fierce as ever. The swell of animosity against him will return in full force, even stronger than it was after the Buffalo Bills loss. And though unlikely, Art Rooney II would have to at least consider alternatives to lead the Steelers into 2026 and beyond. If so, he’ll do it without one top candidate in mind.
