When the Pittsburgh Steelers started to pursue veteran quarterback Aaron Rodgers in free agency back in March, they had one goal in mind: getting over the hump in the AFC playoffs and getting back to competing for a Lombardi Trophy.
Now, thanks to an AFC North title, the Steelers have a chance to do just that, starting with the AFC Wild Card matchup against the No. 5 Houston Texans on Monday Night Football.
Though he had an up-and-down season at times and dealt with fractures in his left wrist that caused him to miss one game and parts of two others, Rodgers has been a stabilizing presence for the Black and Gold, both on the field and off.
