Dylan Cook’s journey to playing starting left tackle for the Pittsburgh Steelers has been a long one. With two starts under his belt, the former quarterback-turned offensive tackle is receiving praise for his performance.
Former Steelers’ offensive lineman Trai Essex is impressed with what he has seen from Cook and said this week on the Snap Count podcast that “this is the best the left tackle position has looked in Pittsburgh for a while.”
“I am just so impressed with how calm and poised he is staying,” Essex said of Cook. “He doesn’t panic and he had some plays that ten year vets don’t even make sometimes.
