The 2026 NFL Draft QB Class Just Got Worse

The Pittsburgh Steelers are going to be in the market for a quarterback in the 2026 NFL Draft. But a class that had a lot of hype ahead of the college football season has looked worse as the season has gone on. With South Carolina QB LaNorris Sellers nearing a deal to remain at the school, per ESPN’s Pete Thamel, one of the better quarterback options is now off the board.

Sellers, like many of the perceived top quarterbacks in the class, saw his stock drop as the season wore on. Projected as a potential top-ten selection prior to the start of the season, Sellers dealt with injuries and struggled with consistency and accuracy, throwing for 2,437 yards and 13 touchdowns with eight interceptions.
