‘That’s Why We Value Him’: Tomlin Praises Rudolph For Stepping Up In Rodgers’ Absence

The Pittsburgh Steelers had a sudden change at the quarterback position in today’s win over the Cincinnati Bengals. Aaron Rodgers was clutching at his left wrist on the final drive of the first half, and Mason Rudolph took over after the break for the rest of the game.

“Mason’s proven in the past what he showed today,” Tomlin said via the Steelers’ YouTube. “That’s why we value him as a member of this collective and appreciative of his play…He’s always delivered when called upon in the past. That’s why we value him. His performance was consistent with what he’s done in the past for us.
