Believe it or not, the Pittsburgh Steelers had the Green Bay Packers on the ropes last Sunday. They went into halftime up 16-7, and got the ball to start the second half. They had every chance to put the Packers away. With an opening drive touchdown they could have led 23-7 and taken even further control of the game.
But they didn’t. Instead the Steelers quickly went three and out, starting a landslide of poor play on the path to a second-half collapse. Speaking Tuesday, Aaron Rodgers acknowledged the Steelers have to be better offensively to start the second half.
