In the wake of safety Damontee Kazee’s injury which will sideline for at least a portion of the regular, defensive coordinator Teryl Austin told the media today that they don’t know who will fill his role yet, but they’ll be creative in trying to fill it.
“We know it’s a next man up principle here, and so we’ll find somebody else to fill that job. However we do it, it might be with another safety, it might be with another body, and it might be with a corner. I don’t know how we’ll do it, but we’ll fill that,” Austin said via Steelers Live on Twitter.
