The Steelers have less than a week to trade for a wide receiver—or possibly circle back to Marquez Valdes-Scantling. The veteran free agent recently came to Pittsburgh, but he left without a contract. Halfway through the season, he is without a team, so what does that mean for Pittsburgh?
Earlier this week, Gerry Dulac reported that the Steelers don’t intend to sign Valdes-Scantling this week. His colleague, Ray Fittipaldo, agrees, also suggesting that they might not sign him at all. If he does end up signing, however, he warns not to get your hopes up.
