Patrick Queen was violently ill for last year’s playoff game against the Baltimore Ravens, and his leading theory was that it came from a Baltimore restaurant out to get him before the game. This time they are playing at home, but he’s not going to take any chances. He enlisted the help of his mother for this one.
“My mom’s cooking. I’m not taking no chances. Whatever she cook, I’m gonna eat,” Queen said via 102.5 WDVE’s Morning Show with Randy Baumann.
The Steelers not only limped into the playoffs on a four-game losing streak last season, but they added illness to injury with Cam Heyward and Chris Boswell listed with an illness on the injury report leading up to the Wild Card game.
