Steelers Will See A Familiar Referee In Week 17

John Hussey, who also worked the Pittsburgh Steelers’ Week 12 loss against the Chicago Bears, will be the referee for the team’s Week 17 matchup against the Cleveland Browns at Huntington Bank Stadium. NFL Communications announced that Hussey would be the referee for Steelers-Browns.

Hussey’s crew called 13 penalties in its first game officiating the Steelers this year, with seven going against Chicago, totaling 83 yards, while the Steelers were called for six penalties, totaling 41 yards.

This season, Hussey’s crew has called just 169 penalties, the fourth-lowest total in the league. They worked the Cincinnati Bengals’ win over the Miami Dolphins last week.
