I can’t speak for everyone reading this article, but I have always cared about the announcers of Steelers games. I can still remember yelling at Phil Simms’ idiotic comments, or shaking my head at Solomon Wilcox butchering Steelers players’ names.
Some don’t care about who is calling the game, but I am certainly not among that crowd. Hence how interested I was when I saw a report of who might be calling the Steelers vs. Giants game on Monday Night Football in Week 1 at MetLife Stadium.
Reminder, the first week of the season is when ESPN hosts a Monday night double header, and the Steelers have the early game of the back-to-back Week 1 games.
