Steelers Wednesday Injury Report Week 1: S Sean Davis Still Unable To Practice

The Pittsburgh Steelers released their first official injury report of the 2019 NFL season on Wednesday and as expected, it has the team’s starting safety listed on it.

Listed as not practicing on Wednesday for the Steelers was safety Sean Davis (ankle), who was injured in the team’s third preseason game a weeks ago. With Davis sidelined again on Wednesday, Kameron Kelly and cornerback Mike Hilton worked as the first-team free safety, according to Jacob Klinger of pennlive.com.

Davis is the only player listed on the Steelers Wednesday injury report and that’s great news as other players such as outside linebacker Anthony Chickillo, tight end Xavier Grimble, Olasunkanmi Adeniyi, and cornerback Justin Layne all seemingly exited the preseason not fully healthy.
