Steelers waive offensive lineman

The Steelers have waived offensive lineman Lecitus Smith, per a report from NFL insider Aaron Wilson.

Smith had a short stay on the Steelers’ roster. Pittsburgh claimed him on March 24, 2025 after he was waived by the New England Patriots. Smith had previously spent time with the Arizona Cardinals, Houston Texans, Philadelphia Eagles, and Green Bay Packers.

Smith, a 2022 sixth-round pick, has been a guard at the NFL level with 18 career games played.

The Steelers’ remaining players listed at guard are Isaac Seumalo, Mason McCormick, Spencer Anderson, Doug Nester, Max Scharping, Aiden Williams, and Steven Jones.
