The Pittsburgh Steelers made another set of transactions on Thursday ahead of their training camp practice getting underway as one cornerback was waived injured and another one was signed to take his place.
Waived injured on Thursday by the Steelers was cornerback Herb Waters, who suffered a shoulder injury during the team’s Wednesday training camp practice. Free agent cornerback Derrek Thomas was signed to take his place on the roster.

Waters, who ended last season on the Steelers practice squad, was re-signed by the team to a futures contract back in January.
