Steelers Teammates Hope Aaron Rodgers Returns In 2026

The Pittsburgh Steelers signed Aaron Rodgers to help them win a playoff game. Unfortunately, he couldn’t do that this year. The Steelers suffered another ugly playoff loss, this time to the Houston Texans. Rodgers’ future is up in the air, too. While he hasn’t made a decision yet, he’s 42 years old and flirted with retirement last year. Also, he’s a free agent, so if he does play again, it might not be for the Steelers. Cam Heyward wouldn’t mind seeing Rodgers return to Pittsburgh, though.

“If 8 [Rodgers] wants to come back, he has the right to come back,” Heyward said after the game via ESPN’s Brooke Pryor on Twitter.
