Steelers Suffer One Injury In Loss To Chargers

Figuratively and literally, the Pittsburgh Steelers will be licking their wounds after an ugly 25-10 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers Sunday night. In addition to the defeat, Mike Tomlin provided a recap of the Steelers’ injuries suffered during the game.

“Slay was out. He’s in the concussion protocol,” Tomlin told reporters post-game via the team’s YouTube channel. “We’ll see where that leads us this week. The rest is bumps and bruises associated with play. Joey Porter Jr. went back into the game.”

Slay was injured in the first half after teammate and SS Kyle Dugger collided with him at the end of a tackle.
