Steelers start making coaching additions, starting on the defensive side of the football

The Pittsburgh Steelers’ fan base was furious with the way the 2018 regular season ended, and the majority wanted some proverbial heads to roll. There was one name which topped the list, outside of Mike Tomlin, and that was defensive coordinator Keith Butler.

Some coaches were released, but none which satiated the fans’ appetite for change.

With Butler looking as if he isn’t going anywhere, now the team has started the process of adding, not subtracting, coaches. They started by bringing in former Cincinnati Bengals’ defensive coordinator Teryl Austin.

Steelers have hired Teryl Austin as a senior defensive assistant/secondary.
