Typically, we’d promote a battle of this magnitude as Muhammad Ali vs. Joe Frazier, except with this particular matchup, it’s more of a Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson kind of heavyweight bout.
These once championship-grade contenders are hulking shadows of their former selves. They are both somewhat empty suits wearing two of the league’s most defensively dominant uniforms.
It makes little difference, however. The fact that these two will be shadow boxing won’t diminish the drama and importance of this engagement in this circled-on-the-calendar final regular-season game between these two league dignitaries.
