The Pittsburgh Steelers have filled their open practice squad position left when safety Curtis Riley signed with the Arizona Cardinals earlier this week. The Steelers have brought back safety John Battle who spent the 2020 training camp with Pittsburgh.

Undrafted out of Louisiana State University in 2019, Battle was originally signed by the New York Jets.
