After a busy Tuesday, the Steelers made more roster moves on Wednesday. Per a team announcement, Pittsburgh signed running back Aaron Shampklin from the practice squad to the 53-man roster. The team also signed linebacker Jacoby Windmon to the practice squad and activated outside linebacker Jeremiah Moon’s 21-day window to return from injured reserve.
Shampklin was temporarily activated from the practice squad last week against the Indianapolis Colts, where he recorded one rush for five yards. Now, he’s officially signed. It’s good news for Shampklin, but not a promising sign for the Steelers’ general running back health.
