Steelers Select Toledo WR Diontae Johnson In The Third-Round Of The 2019 NFL Draft

The Pittsburgh Steelers have selected Toledo wide receiver Diontae Johnson with the second pick of the third-round of the 2019 NFL Draft. It was the 66th pick overall in this year’s draft.

At the combine, Johnson weighed in at 5’10/4, 183 pounds, running a 4.53 40 with a 33.5 inch vertical and 10’3″ broad. Last year, he caught 49 passes for 761 yards and eight touchdowns. His best season came as a sophomore in 2017, he declared a year early, where he caught 74 passes for nearly 1300 yards and 13 scores. Our full report on him, written last month, can be found below.
