Steelers Rule Out OLB Nick Herbig Against Lions

The Pittsburgh Steelers have ruled out third-year outside linebacker Nick Herbig for Sunday’s matchup against the Detroit Lions as he continues to recover from a hamstring injury suffered in the Week 15 Monday Night Football win over the Miami Dolphins.

Steelers Senior Director of Communications Burt Lauten posted the update on Herbig on X Saturday afternoon.

The #Steelers are downgrading LB Nick Herbig (hamstring) to OUT for Sunday's game in Detroit. The team is also upgrading LS Christian Kuntz (knee) from questionable to no injury status designation vs. the Lions.
