The Steelers opened their rookie mini-camp on Friday.
The camp runs for three days with a total of five practice sessions: two Friday, two Saturday, and one Sunday.
The is the first camp of the season where the coaches are in attendance. The veteran voluntary workout sessions from last month were players and trainers only.
Friday is far from the anticipation and fanfare that comes from the beginnings of training camp in Latrobe, but it’s still exciting to know we are one step closer to that moment.
It’s also exciting to see the future of the Steelers wearing Black & Gold for the first time.
