The Steelers were 1-4 and on the verge of early elimination. After beating three teams with a combined three wins, the surprising Indianapolis Colts came to town with a 5-2 record. The Steelers would need an inspired effort, and a lot of luck, to defeat the visitors and reach .500.
They got both.
