As I was going over the transcript of head coach Mike Tomlin’s Tuesday pre-game press conference, it struck me as odd that nobody asked the Pittsburgh Steelers head coach about the team’s decision to waive veteran wide receiver Donte Moncrief. While the reason for doing so was obvious, and it was the right move to make, it is normally something that would be commented upon.
It was, in fact, never mentioned. The only mention of Moncrief through the team since his release was the mere statement of his being waived. I’m pretty sure even Ladarius Green got asked about after he was let go.
