A few weeks after adding veteran linebacker Ja’Whaun Bentley to the practice squad to shore up the inside linebacker room from a physicality standpoint, the Pittsburgh Steelers released the veteran Tuesday.
Bentley’s release was the corresponding move to clear a spot on the practice squad for running back/returner Raheem Blackshear, who reportedly signed Monday as part of a busy day for the Black and Gold.
