Steelers re-sign DE Tyson Alualu to a new two-year contract extension

While the impending departure of players like Le’Veon Bell and Antonio Brown have captured the headlines surrounding the Pittsburgh Steelers as of late, the team still has a significant number of other players to worry about this offseason with several notable names facing free agency in less than three weeks.

However, it would appear that Tyson Alualu will not be testing the open market this year after the Steelers announced they had re-signed the veteran defensive end to a new two-year contract extension on Friday.

While the financial terms of the deal have yet to be announced, the contract is unlikely to have taken up too much cap space.
