The Pittsburgh Steelers announced Tuesday that they’ve placed seventh-round Keion Adams on injured reserve and waived DE Christian Brown and TE Phazahn Odom.
Adams, 22, was selected with the No. 248 overall pick by the Steelers in this year’s NFL draft. He’s currently in the first year of his four-year, $2,466,017 contract and stands to make base salaries of $465,000 and $555,000 over the first two years of the agreement.
During his four-year college career at Western Michigan, Adams recorded 126 tackles, 33 tackles for a loss, 14.
