Gilbert III has dealt with a back injury over the last two weeks. While he suited up for Sunday’s win over the Indianapolis Colts, his snap count appeared limited. During Tuesday’s press conference, Mike Tomlin had ruled him out for this week’s contest against Los Angeles. Now, his season is over. Prior to the injury, no Steeler had played more special teams snaps than UG3.
