Steelers Picked Up Ravens’ ‘Little Nuances And Details’ To Stop Run Game In Second Half

The Steelers knew they had to slow down the Ravens’ run game in order to win on Sunday. To an extent—just enough—they did. While Baltimore still ran for 137 yards, most of it came early. Pittsburgh did a much better job controlling the Ravens’ ground game in the second half, Keeanu Benton said.

“Just knowing what we were seeing. We had ideas coming out what they were doing, and they kind of held true to an extent”, Benton told reporters yesterday, via the Steelers’ website. “But just those little nuances and details that we figured out in the first half, we were able to stop in the second half”.
