Steelers Met With Four Texas Draft Prospects Ahead Of Pro Day

The Pittsburgh Steelers were busy ahead of the University of Texas’ Pro Day on Tuesday, as the Steelers contingent in Austin met with four prospects on Monday night. We previously wrote that the team met with QB Quinn Ewers, but in addition to Ewers the Steelers met with DL Vernon Broughton, CB Jahdae Barron and S Andrew Mukuba, per Tony Pauline of Sportskeeda.

Barron is the most highly-touted prospect, as he’s projected to be a first-round pick. The Swiss army knife lined up all over the secondary for the Longhorns and also had a formal meeting with the Steelers at the 2025 NFL Combine.
