The Pittsburgh Steelers were in a bind with JuJu Smith-Schuster not being able to play in Week 12 vs. the Green Bay Packers. Smith-Schuster, along with Terrell Watson, were the usual kick return men, but with Smith-Schuster out, the Steelers decided to make a move to bolster their special teams play.
Toussaint, who was on the team’s practice squad, will not only replace Watson, but will add experience at the kick return position, not to mention more speed and agility.
Whether this is a one week transaction, or something which could last the remainder of the season, has yet to be seen.
